Lieutenant Colonel Alexandre Banza (died 1969) was a military officer and politician in the Central African Republic under Jean-Bédel Bokassa. Banza aided Bokassa in his 1965 coup and failed in his own 1969 coup attempt. Banza was tortured, put in front of a military tribunal and sentenced to death by firing squad.
