Promotion City
I have tried numerous times to start a wikipedia article about Promotion City. The first 2 times it was removed via Speedy Deletion due to "G11:Blatant advertising" - this I understand, and have since made a concious effort to improve the content of the article to conform to wikipedia criteria. My last attempt of publishing a Promotion City article was removed due to: "A7 (web): Web content which doesn't indicate its importance or significance)"... G7 states that I do not explicitly have to prove that Promotion City is notable, i just need to give a reasonable indication of why it might be notable. I am not quite sure how to do this, however I would like to take this oppertunity to mention that Promotion City was one of the first websites of its kind to provide regular and up-to-date information about clubs and events to a targeted clientelle in the UK. If this is a reasonable reason for proving that Promotion City is notable in an encyclopedia, please let me know, otherwise I would appriciate it if I could be offered some advice on what sort of reason I may be able to provide instead, and most importantly, where would I put this information (in the artcle? or as a side-note message to any member of the admin team). I appriciate your time reading this. Thanks. Neil-One ( talk) 00:19, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
