In investment banking circles, this activity is commonly known by the general term M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions).

Transaction types include mergers, acquisitions, disposals, defences, spin-offs, demergers, joint ventures, privatisations, leveraged buyouts and many others. Transactions may be “public” transactions, where the target is a listed public company, or “private” transactions, where the target company is not listed.

Biography

Kathy Brown was born in Jamaica mid-island town of Mandeville into a family of academics; both parents are doctorates and educator at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica. She began playing the family piano at age 5 before being signed for formal lesions in classical piano.

Aksel Hennie

Aksel Hennie (b. 29 October, 1975) is a Norwegian actor, director and writer. He has acted in a number of successful Norwegian movies, and has received several awards.

Hennie grew up on Lambertseter in Oslo. In his late teens he was sentenced for tagging, and became an outcast in the community for confessing to the police. This personal story contributed much of the background for the movie Uno. The conviction against Hennie was in fact one of the first such cases in Norway.
