Viola Evolve


Viola Evolve is an American rock band from California, formed in 2007. The band originally formed as a side project with Arturo Hernandez, formerly of Modified Mercalli, and Luis Aguilar and Arian Castillo, both members of Villainous Heroes at the time. The band incorporates aspects of progressive rock and indie rock, and dance pop.

Bicycle Kitchen (Los Angeles)


The Bicycle Kitchen is a non-profit bicycle cooperative in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, dedicated to educating the community on bicycle repair and maintenance and promoting a velo-centric way of life in America's most car-dominated city.

History

The Los Angeles Bicycle Kitchen, also known as "La Bici Cocina", was originally created in 2002 by Jimmy Lizama, a local bicycle messenger, in the kitchen of an unused apartment at the Los Angeles Eco-Village. The Eco-Village community was supportive of the project as the local bike shop but soon others joined in, among them Ben Guzman, Aaron Salinger and Randy Metz. In the following year, the bicycle kitchen became a community resource and a local spot for bicycle enthusiasts.

Søren Kierkegaard Plads


Søren Kierkegaards Plads with the Black Diamond leaning towards the water Søewn Kierkegaards Plads is a harbourside public square on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It occupies a strip of waterfront between the Black Diamond, whose main entrance faces the square, and the Frederiksholm Canal. Away from the water, the square is faced by Christian IV's Brewhouse as well as his old arsenal, now housing the Royal Military Museum. The throughfare Christians Brygge runs through the square which is connected to the water by "ghats" which in the same time serve as seating for spectators when performances occationally take place on a floating stage in the harbour basin.

History

It was laid out in 1999 in connection with the construction of the adjacent Black Diamond.
