Changes to Format

• As of last season instruments will be allowed to be played with your audition.

• Jully Black will join the cast of Canadian Idol 6 as the new correspondent and mentor.

• Last Chance Online Auditions is introduced where within two weeks competitors who failed to make it on their audition or who couldn't make the audition date can now audition by posting a 2 minute video of themselves performing and upload the video onto the website at idol.ctv.ca
