Goon of fortune

A common Australian pastime involving a hills hoist clothesline and a bladder of wine (commonly referred to as a "goon bag.") Particpants, whose number may vary from as little as 2 to as many as can fit around the clothesline, attach the goon bag to the clothesline with a peg. One member then spins the clothesline and whoever the goonbag stops above must drink an amount of wine. This game continues until all members are quite intoxicated.

Variations on the rule are often employed, as well as additional rules added as particpants lose their sobriety. One notable example being "Strip Goon of Fortune."

Note: a lone player of goon of fortune is not considered to be a true "goon of fortune" player. Rather, they are just a drunk.

While this game is typified by its underage, adolescant adherants. It may also be played by a more mature audience http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqFFyW01FXA "Little Rinnie- Goon of Fortune" February 21 1007
