Judith "Judy" Hughes née Verhagen (born April 28, 1959) in Subiaco, Western Australia Western Australia is an Australian politician. She has been an ALP member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since February 2005, representing the electorate of Kingsley.
Following the retirement of Cheryl Edwardes, who had held the seat of Kingsley since 1989 for the Liberal Party, Hughes contested the seat in the 2005 election and won with a swing of 3.3% with a margin of 0.8%.
