Michael Arthur Hill (born 17 April 1949) is a British Anglican clergyman and the current Bishop of Bristol Communion.
The son of Arthur and Hilda HillWho's Who2008: London, A & C Black ISBN 9780713672576, he was educated at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge Debrett's People of Today London,2008 Debrett's, ISBN 9781870520959 and at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. Between 1977 and 1980 Hill was Curate of St Mary Magdalene, Addiscombe and from 1980 to 1983 of St Paul Slough; and then from 1983 to 1990 Priest in charge of St Leonard Chesham Bois. In 1990, he became Rural Dean of Amersham and two years later Archdeacon of BerkshireCrockford's Clerical Directory2008/2009 Lambeth, Church House Publishing ISBN 9780715110300. Between 1998 and 2003 he was appointed Bishop of Buckingham http://www.number10.gov.uk/Page3734. Since 2003, he has been the 56th Bishop of Bristol.
