Casting Call of Cthulhu

Casting Call of Cthulhu (2008) is a short film loosely based on characters and ideas by horror/weird fiction author H. P. Lovecraft. The story revolves around a director auditioning characters for a film adaptation of a Lovecraft tome. The actors auditioning for the part all have monstrous traits resembling those found in Lovecraft's stories. The director's frustration mounts as the performers get stranger and stranger until finally a Yithian, an actual creature from Lovecraft's work, realized through CGI, shows up for the audition.
