Cape Ann Light

Twin Lights Historic District-Cape Ann Light Station (or Thatcher's Island Twin Lights; Cape Anne Light Station) is a National Historic Landmark District around the Cape Ann lighthouse in Rockport, Massachusetts.

The station was the last lighthouse founded during colonial times and the first to "mark a navigational hazard rather than a harbor entrance." NHL site information The current lighthouse was built in 1860 and was added to the National Historic Register in 1971.
