Syphon Filter: Combat Ops

Combat Ops is a multiplayer-exclusive game available from the PlayStation Network. A playable "sneak preview" is accessible from the Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow main menu. Combat Ops was originally discovered in late August 2007 when the Logan's Shadow demo UMD data was explored using various tools. Among the demo files was a .prx for Combat Ops, which, when used to replace the normal demo .prx, launched a beta version of Combat Ops.

Combat Ops allows players to edit pre-existing maps but adding their own objects, weapons, objectives, spawn points, and other information. Players can customize the names of the factions and choose what factions they want for their "mission". A mission is an edited map that can be taken online or into Ad-hoc to share and play with others. Combat Ops will feature exclusive skins (such as a goose costume) and content not available in previous Syphon Filter games.

Combat Ops is now available for download from the Playstation Store's PC web site.
