Sir Norman Kendal CBE (1880–8 March 1966) was an English barrister and police officer in the London Metropolitan Police.

Kendal was born in Cheadle, Cheshire. He was educated at Rossall School and Oriel College, Oxford, where he studied Modern History, and was called to the bar by the Inner Temple in 1906, practising on the Northern Circuit. In 1914 he was commissioned into the 5th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment. He was wounded at the Battle of the Somme in 1916 and in 1917 was attached to the Ministry of National Service as a staff officer. He was promoted Lieutenant in July 1917. In October 1918 he resigned his commission on account of ill-health caused by his wounds.

Lieutenant Colonel Hugh Ferguson Montgomery CMG, DSO (6th May 1880, Umbala, Bengal, India - 10th December 1920, Bray, County Dublin, Ireland) was a British first class cricketer and Royal Marines Light Infantry officer.

Montgomery was born in India and was a cousin of Field Marshal Montgomery. He played first class cricket for Somerset (1901-1909) and then the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).

Ernest Allen (June 24, 1880May 28, 1943) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire. He was born in Holme and died in Wedderburn.

Allen's debut came against the Gentlemen of Philadelphia during a two-month long English tour by the team. Allen made a steady first-innings total, and backed this up in the second innings, though others near him in the batting order tended to outscore him - including England Test cricketer John Gunn.

He married Dora Marcus (1882-1969) in 1924 when he was the First Assistant District Attorney for New York. He fathered Roy Cohn (1927-1986) in 1927.

Leland Payson Bancroft (born August 6, 1880 in Walton, Nova Scotia, Canada-died February 27, 1951) was a Canadian politician. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in 1921 as a Member of the Progressive Party for the riding of Selkirk. He was defeated in 1925 as a Liberal-Progressive, but, won in 1926 and was defeated again in 1930.

Alexander Mikhailovich Krasnoshchyokov (Александр Михайлович Краснощёков (Краснощёк)) (real name: Avraam Moiseevich Tobelson) (born October 10, 1880, Chernobil - shot November 26, 1937, Moscow) was a Soviet politician.

He joined the RSDRP in 1897. After two arrests Alexander Krasnoshchyokov left the Russian Empire for the USA in 1903. He joined the Socialist Labor Party of America and started learning at the University of Chicago at the Law School. In 1912 Alexander Krasnoshchyokov was graduated from the University and started working as a lawyer.

Alexander "Sandy" Young was a Scottish professional footballer.

He is the all-time fourth highest scorer for English club Everton and scored the only goal to win the 1906 FA Cup Final. He was also the Football League's top scorer in 1906-07.
