James Allen (Jim) Byrne (27 January 1911 - 5 September 1975) was a Liberal party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, United States and became a miner by career.

Mikko Hietanen (born September 22, 1911 – died February 3, 1999) was a Finnish long-distance runner, who competed for his native country at two consective Summer Olympics, starting in 1948.

Maurice Cann (born March 23, 1911) was a British former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He competed from 1949 to 1952 in the Grand Prix world championships. He won his first time in world championship competition in the 250cc class at the 1949 Ulster Grand Prix on a Moto Guzzi.

Evaristo Vicente Barrera (born December 30 1911 in Rosario) was an Argentine football striker. He played for Racing Club de Avellaneda and a number of football clubs in Italy.

Barrera started his professional career in 1932 with Racing Club, he was twice the topscorer in the Argentine Primera, in 1934 with 34 goals and in 1936 with 32 goals. By the end of his time with Racing Club Barrera had scored 136 goals in 142 games, he still holds the record as the clubs highest scoring player.

George Rumbold (born 10 July, 1911 in Aston) was an English professional footballer. During his career he made over 100 appearances for Ipswich Town between 1946 and 1950.

Adrian Dingle (1911-22 December 1974) is a comic book creator whose career was based in Canada.

Born John Adrian Darley Dingle in Barmouth, North Wales, he emigrated to Canada when he was three years old. He had settled in the Toronto region, building a house in Mississauga in the late 1940s, and working on a new house in Caledon prior to his death.

John Victor Maxwell Braithwaite was born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan and would spend his youth in various Saskatachewan communities. Eventually he would move to Ontario, living in communities such as Orangeville, Port Carling and finally Brighton where he died at age 83.
