In that same time span, he charted three Top 40 singles on the Billboard country charts. His highest-charting single was a 10 cover of Jack Greene's "Statue of a Fool".

Saadia Marciano (1 May 1950 - 21 December 2007) was a founder of the Israeli Black Panthers.

Born in Oujda, Morocco, Marciano's family moved to Israel before his first birthday, where he grew up in the Musrara area of Jerusalem. He was inspired by the example of the Black Panthers to organise a national movement to liberate Mizrachim.
