This is pretty cool, and shows the benefits of coming into the Yahoo! umbrella... Del.icio.us just added a new feature that adds a thumbnail image to any page that's added to the service from Flickr . The image is a small one to the left and doesn't detract at all - if anything, it may encourage people to add more Flickr pages. Oh, and congratulations to Joshua for winning the 2006 Copernican Award for best user-centric experience by a small company (heh - I'm guessing this was before the acquisition...) The del.icio.us team has released a new feature that should make sharing your bookmarks easier. It's called ' your network ' and the page will show pages saved by people you've added. To add someone to your network, just click on their name and you'll see an 'add to your network' link. This looks a lot like what My Web 2.0 does with it's 'My Contacts Pages' - it's good to see good ideas cross between the similar services like this. Now here's a little something that's been a long time coming... The Del.icio.us Blog announced the release of their Bookmark Import tool. You can now import your existing browser bookmarks from anything that supports the Netscape file format (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, etc). The delay is blamed on the need to wait for the Private feature that was recently introduced - seems reasonable since before sites like del.icio.us and My Web, bookmarks were only for you to see.
