Ernest Allen (June 24, 1880May 28, 1943) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire. He was born in Holme and died in Wedderburn.

Allen's debut came against the Gentlemen of Philadelphia during a two-month long English tour by the team. Allen made a steady first-innings total, and backed this up in the second innings, though others near him in the batting order tended to outscore him - including England Test cricketer John Gunn.

William Dean (cricketer)

William Henry Dean, born at Leeds, Yorkshire on November 25, 1928 was a cricketer who played one first-class match for Somerset in 1952.

Dean was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Along with fellow Yorkshireman Malcolm Walker, he was picked by Somerset for the match against the touring Indian side at County Ground, Taunton from 28 May 1952. Somerset batted first and reached 193 for eight wickets when Dean batted at No 10, joining all-rounder Johnny Lawrence, who had recommended him to the county. The pair put on 133 for the ninth wicket, only 13 short of the county side's then ninth wicket record, and Lawrence made an unbeaten 103, his first century after six years of county cricket. Dean made 21 before being bowled by Vijay Hazare.

Archibald Blaber (December 15, 1867May 15, 1905) was an English cricketer who played for Sussex. He was born in Horsted Keynes and died in Cuckfield.

Blaber made two first-class appearances, both in University matches, for the side - the first in 1890 and the second in 1894. He picked up just one wicket with the ball in 25 overs of batting. Twenty-eight of the twenty-nine runs he scored in first-class cricket came when he was pushed further up the order to bat alongside three-time Test batsman Harry Butt.

Edward Missen (February 2, 1875November 17, 1927) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed medium-pace bowler who played first-class cricket for Essex.

Missen made his first and only County Championship appearance almost 17 years after appearing for Cambridgeshire in the Minor Counties Championship in 1904. A middle order batsman alongside captain JWHT Douglas, Missen hit 8 runs in his first innings and 12 in his second.
