Bill Kinnear

William George Kinnear (August 19, 1914 - December 7, 1982) was an Australian sportsman who represented Victoria at first-class cricket and played Australian rules football with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Born in West Brunswick, Kinnear came from a strong sporting family with his brother Joe Kinnear playing VFL football at Melbourne and also cricket for Victoria. His nephew Colin later coached the Sydney Swans.

Leslie Rainey

Leslie Newburn Rainey (January 10, 1881 - August 27, 1962) was an Australian sportsman who played first-class cricket for Victoria and Australian rules football with Essendon and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

After managing only five appearances for Essendon during his time at the club in 1899 and 1900, Rainey crossed to Melbourne where he had more success. He played a full season in 1902, including Melbourne's Semi Final loss to his old club, and kicked 17 goals. Rainey finished his football career with 23 VFL games and 20 goals.

Mick Pleass

George Victor 'Mick' Pleass (born November 12, 1874) was an Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne and Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Pleass was a follower and played his early football at South Melbourne when they were in the VFA. He participated in their inaugural VFL match and remained with the club until 1904 when he crossed to Essendon, after his transfer to play for Boulder in the Western Australian Goldfields was refused. During his career he represented Victoria at interstate football on three occasions.

Gerald 'Gerry' Donnelly (born August 7, 1903) was a Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne, North Melbourne and Essendon in the VFL.
