Plot introduction

A human endogenous retrovirus called SHEVA is attached to people's chromosomes. It becomes active which cause the births of millions of genetically altered children. According to Administration, it represents a deadly threat to public health and safety. The mutated children were taken from their parents and placed in concentration camps. The children communicate by using complex verbal tricks, enhanced facial expressions, psychoactive chemical scents made from their own bodies. They also form stable groups that minimize conflict and maximizes cooperation. Mitch Rafelson and his wife, Kaye Lang, have a ShEVA daughter named Stella Nova that they try to shield from governments Emergency Action forces. The child is captured and sent to a camp. A government virus researcher, Christopher Dicken, makes significant discoveries, same with Kaye.
