George Walterfield Russell (born 1958) is an African-American serial killer.

Early life

Russell was born in Florida to middle-class parents Joyce and George Russell Sr. When he was six months old, Joyce Russell left the family, and his father put him in the care of relatives. Joyce reentered his life when he was six years old and took him to Mercer Island, Washington, to live with her and her new husband. When Russell was in his early teens, his mother left again, putting him in the care of his stepfather. Over the next few years, Russell developed into an amateur criminal, arrested many times for breaking and entering, trespassing, vandalism, and drug dealing. When he was 17, his stepfather kicked him out of the house. He then moved to nearby Bellevue, either living off of friends or supporting himself as a burglar.

Benjamin D. Wright

Benjamin D. Wright was a Florida Lawyer, journalist, and Whig politician who served in Territorial Legislature, the State Senate, and as a Florida Supreme Court justice in 1853, succeeding Walker Anderson. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on January 23, 1799, the son of William and Sarah Ann Wright. He married Josephine De La Rua on February 23, 1826. He owned the Pensacola Gazette from 1834 to 1839 and edited the paper till 1846. He died on April 28, 1874.

Wright was admitted to the Luzerne County, Pennsylvania bar on April 7, 1820. When he was twenty-four, he moved to the Pensacola area. He became friends with and went to work for Richard K. Call, a protégé of Andrew Jackson. In April of 1824 he was appointed to the territorial council. In May, the president appointed him United States Attorney for Middle Florida, and then for West Florida in February of 1826.

Alex Ruoff (born August 26, 1986 in Spring Hill, Florida) is the current starting forward for the West Virginia University Mountaineers basketball squad.

Early Life

Alex Ruoff attended Central High in Florida, where he lettered in basketball. As a senior, Ruoff averaged 30 points and 12 rebounds before injuring his leg in December. Among other accolades, Ruoff earned all-state honors, county player of the year, and was nominated as a McDonald's All-American. He holds school records for assists, blocks, and steals.

Charles Dunbar Sharon (born April 4, 1983 in Palatka, Florida) is an American football wide receiver who is a practice squad player for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at the Bowling Green.
