hungary | photography

Mór Ungerleider was a Hungarian cafe owner and showman, and was the first to show cinema in Hungary. The first film was first shot in Hungary in 1896 by Arnold Sziklay. Mór Ungerleider owned the Velence Café where he showed films. He originally just projected films in his cafe, but he then adapted his projector to shoot film and in 1898 formed Projectograph, Ltd. with Jozsef Neumann.
