Life and Career

Early Life

Miller was born in Orange Park, Florida to Darcy D. Miller and Debra A. Lewis-Miller who later divorced. Shortly after the divorce, Miller and her younger sister moved to Lakeland, Florida with their mother, and attended Rochelle School of The Arts Middle School, where she began to study violin at the age of 12. After two years of excelling and playing violin in several county and state orchestras, Miller, realizing she had a natural talent, began to teach herself to play the cello, electric, acoustic, and bass guitar. After middle school, Miller made the decision to quit orchestra and go back home to small Clay county, Florida to attend High School. Due to attendance & academic problems her freshman and sophomore year, an agreement between her mother and father was made for her to move to Waldorf, Maryland, where she would live with her father. There she attended Westlake High School, and found contentment in the school's orchestra and theater departments during her junior year.

Miller took up orchestra again her senior year, and made 1st chair cello, but after the death of her very close friend, started to lose focus and showed no interest in both her schoolwork and social life. Westlake's school guidance counselors and other friends of Miller immediately recognized this, and eventually helped her to recover from a sudden depression. She remained very active in county and state orchestra festivals, and talent competitions. Upon her graduation, she was awarded with the National School Orchestra Award, Principal's Award, and several other academic honors.

2007-2008 Songwriting with Revolution Art

Miller co-composed her second studio recorded song ("Gotta Let You Go" by Jade Harrell, which didn't make the album, being the first) in the summer of 2008 along with recording artist and close friend, Jade Harrell, and producer Mo Henderson.

2008-2009 Performances

In June 2009, Miller returned to Florida from Maryland to travel and perform with Jade Harrell to promote the Class Reject album.
"I don't get paid very much, but dude, there's free food everywhere!"

2009-present

Miller has been a guest artist in the studio with recording artist Leon Timbo, and still plays electric guitar for Jade Harrell for performances. When not performing, she writes and composes her own songs, and does guitar covers of other songs. Influenced by the musical style of rock, Miller incorporates a lot of "grungy power-chords" into her songs. When asked which artist she is most inspired by, she made this statement:
"I'm not really inspired by any celebrity recording artist or anyone like that. I'm more inspired by the people around me...like my really close friends. I always let my mom listen to my music first, because I like her input, and once, she asked me who the guy is that I write all my songs about! I laughed and told her that absolutely none of my songs are about any guy...they're all about my disciples..or family. Dude, I can seriously only count four different people who have inspired me to write like forty different songs!"

Miller counts spirituality, her mother, S. Jackson (a close friend), her younger sister, and Jade Harrell as her greatest motivations.
