Career
Doctor Who Fan Film

The film starred Brooks as The Doctor, and Ben Norman as companion, Zach. The film was completed in May 2006, and was availible for a short time on YouTube. A five-minute blooper reel is still availible for viewing on Brooks' profile.NERD
Will Brooks and Ciaran Fallon filming with Guest Star Roy Waller in NorwichFollowing from the production of Rift in Time, Brooks devised a sitcom for viewing on the web. The show began as a simple song, based upon the lyrics of the Sandi Thom song I wish I was a Punk Rocker, re-titled to 'I wish I was a Vulcan, yeah'. Following on from the song, which was used as a trailer for the series, Brooks formed a cast and began work on producing a full mini-series of NERD.The cast, Becky Collins, Ban Norman, April Nash and Ciaran Fallon (whom would work with Will on a number of subsequent projects), worked on the show for over a year, trying to form a full series which could be distributed on the internet. The main cast were joined on a number of occasions by guest stars, including Tom MacDonald, Vicky Jones and future Mayor-of-Norwich, Roy Waller. The show followed the lives of a group of nerds in thier day to day life, following thier constant quest to be cool.
The show continued production untill late-summer 2007, posting regular updates online, but ulimately went un-finished. Brooks blamed 'School stuff' getting in the way, with a number of the cast beginnning college, and Brooks himself heading off to take a degree course.
During 2007, the cast spent a day producing a version of 'Whose Line is it Anyway'.
In the summer of 2008, Brooks' blog dclared that a reunion show had been written, and that the cast was all on board for it to be produced. Ulimately, however, things got in the way once more and postponed the production of the special. Brooks has commented that the special 'will be produced, likely close to Christmas, for a summer 2009 release'.
Studio 7 and Degree Years
One of the reasonss given for the end of production on NERD was that everyone was moving off accross the country to either college or university. Brooks himself went to the Norwich School of Art and Design, to study Film and Video. The course is based in EPIC (the east of England production innovation centre), and provided the perfect location for a new show. Will Brooks and Jamie Collins, the main cast of Studio 7Brooks devised Studio 7, and cast Jamie Collins, Miles Joseph and Danni King as the main cast. A few scenes were filmed, and a complete episode with Ciaran Fallon co-starring. Production was halted when the course became more important.
The cast and crew of Danny’s GirlThe course provided the opportunity for brooks to appear in a number of short student films. The first of these films, directed by Andrew McDonnell was 'Danny's Girl'. Danny's Girl feature Meltia Morgan, fresh from filming on Hollywood movie Mister Lonely. Brooks went on to work for McDonnell again in 2008's 'The Tell Tale Heart', in the role of a butler, and also stood inside the costume of a devil in 'ESC.'
Brooks himself has been able to produce a number of films on the course, including a modern day remake of The Man with a Movie Camera and also a short film entitled 'Time after Time'. It also gave him a chance to work with such orginisations as MTV - producing an advert promoting the use of condoms, and also for Norwich 12, creating a film that promotes The Great Hospital.
Will Brooks on Blue Peter with presenter Andy AkinwolereIn October 2008, he spent a day on the BBC's Blue Peter, observing a proper televison production. Brooks claims to have been a fan from childhood, and has all the annuals.
